Cooking is not only our profession, but has always been our passion! And because we love what we do, we go to work day after day with the same enthusiasm and culinary focus on quality and sustainability. As with grandmother, we attach great importance to ensuring that everyone feels equally comfortable and can enjoy themselves in grandma’s kitchen. These include a menu rounded off with vegetarian and vegan dishes, warm service and an authentic portion of Baden cosiness.
Traditional kitchen craftsmanship in a casual atmosphere
As far as the tools of the trade for good cuisine are concerned, thanks to years of experience at home and abroad, we can fall back on a repertoire that also knows how to surprise with Mediterranean, exotic or royal nuances. During our time together at Mosimann’s Private Dining Club London, it sparked not only on the stove, but ultimately also with us. Another highlight of this culinary station: the honor of being the chef in charge at the royal wedding of Prince William and Duchess Kate.
After we also got married (of course not as pompous as with the royals, but no less festive) in our old home Freiburg, we wanted to stand on our own two feet together. Since September 2022, we have been proud and enthusiastic tenants of Grandma’s Kitchen Freiburg, have fallen in love with our neighborhood and give free rein to our passion for hosting and our love for grandma – with traditional kitchen craftsmanship, culinary creativity and an inviting and informal atmosphere.
